The Foody Series is back this fall with a variety of classes that incorporate mouthwatering food samples prepared by local chefs with expert pairings from Manitoba Liquor Marts. Learn the subtle nuances and food pairings for distinctive traditional Italian wines with The Flavours of Tuscany; learn to incorporate decadent chocolate in recipes other than dessert with Chocolate Fantasies; impress your families with delicious appetizers and main courses for the holidays with Stunning Holiday Feasts; discover the joys of holiday baking with Sugar and Spice and All Things Nice; and learn to prepare a gourmet brunch with Fabulous Holiday Brunch Fare. Learn to prepare authentic Italian meals in the De Luca’s Cooking Studio. Instructors will demonstrate a variety of authentic dishes while you sit back and enjoy the meal. The class includes antipasto, pasta, an entrée and dessert as well as a wine bar with a selection to sample and purchase with dinner. Classes take place on Oct. 19 and 26, as well as Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 23. Classes are $44.50 per person, or $159 for a series of four classes.
