Driving down St. Mary’s Road, you may notice a new face in the former location of LuLu’s Restaurant. Café Savour is the latest brainchild of chef Louise Briskie-de Beer and partner Faiz de Beer, who revamped their space and menu after a selfimposed hiatus from the restaurant industry. After taking a 35-day tour of the central United States, the duo came up with a series of dishes that draw on many types of cuisine— from Mexican to Louisianan to Manitoban—and utilize fare from their on-site herb and veggie garden. 956 St Mary’s Rd, 254-4681. www.cafesavour.com
